The big pink party will be back in 2017, from 2nd to 4th July!! The Romagna Riviera will turn pink from the Lido of Comacchio to Cattolica to hold a “New Year’s Eve” like celebration during the Italian summer. A very popular event right from the start in 2006, Pink Night has become increasingly successful. In 2017 once again, from sunset on 7nd till dawn on 9th July, 110 Km of Romagna coast line will be simultaneously involved in one huge party with events of all kinds, shows, concerts by the most famous Italian and international singers, theatre shows, poetry, happenings, pink fireworks, meetings, and themed urban furnishings.
What is the theme? Pink, naturally! Because pink expresses the identity of the Romagna Riviera, a hospitable tourist resort, a place of meetings, and a cradle of true feelings, the Romagna Riviera wishes to promote a new way of experiencing tourism. Pink Night has always had one message: that of promoting dynamic original places where entertainment and meetings are positive and involving. For the occasion, all the workers involved in the Romagna hospitality business: shops, pubs, restaurants, beaches, and discos contribute to the party by lighting their front windows with baby pink lights, or by decorating bars and hotels with pink tulle. On the Romagna coast you can travel along roads that are lit by thousands of pink street lights, and see every corner of the city and all the monuments turn pink!
In Bellaria during the event you might sip a fun baby pink drink at a Pink Bar or even… have pink piadina for dinner! You will also see the famous viale dei Platani in Bellaria adorned with roses and wisteria (the 2016edition numbered 10,000 roses and 20,000 wisteria).
Children’s Pink Night. The town becomes a lively fairground where children will find events, shows, entertainment, cakes and lots of chances to have fun until late at night. The Beach Attendants Cooperative organizes entertainment at every beach in Bellaria.
